While we wait for this unpleasant "situation" to be resolved, we've received word that the seller of our new house has signed our addendum and the house is ours!
So...we're ears-deep in packing today. Heather's aunt, an expert dish packer, is coming over to put our kitchen in cryogenic storage. She's going to flip when she sees that I don't have two dishes that match...stacking is not going to work on my "teetering mounds of crockery".
Sissy is also coming to watch Maddie while HB and I "get medieval" on the rest of the packing.
I'll send back news from "the front" as the battle proceeds...
