Shadow

Poor Shadow, the McDowell family cat. She got a tumor on her liver (or pancreas or some similarly important internal organ) and had to be "put down" today. She had lost her sight and that was the final straw. She weighed only four pounds when she died.

So raise a glass to Shadow tonight. This was one black cat who brought good luck to her family for eleven years.
