We tease poor Zach endlessly about a cute little girl in school who has a big crush on him. She gives him lots of attention and flirts with him constantly and this embarrasses him to no end. And even though he has a crush on her too, he will never admit it. After all, cooties and social isolation are still very real threats at this age.
As we ribbed him about his girlfriend this weekend, he gave his most telling denial yet:
"Dad, I don't have a girlfriend. SHE has a boyfriend".
