Library Letters

In 1970, Marguerite Hart, the Troy Library's first Children's Librarian, decided to ask some famous people to write down their feelings on the importance of libraries. She got many responses from a broad cross-section of humanity.

The letters she received are on display at the Troy Library to this day. Here are a few interesting ones: Dr. Seuss, Isaac Asimov, Neil Simon, Vincent Price, and Neil Armstrong.
