Dennis today sent me the single plumpest email attachment I've ever received: upwards of 24 Megabytes! This coax-cable-choking monster must have slogged the entire midwest internet trunk as it chugged it's way from his server in Dearborn to my MobileMe account somewhere in "The Cloud".
Although the internet is easily capable of carrying enormous amounts of data, most mail servers have size limits on mail message attachments to avoid inconveniencing customers as their local servers gasp and stumble. It is amazing to me that an email this large was allowed through.
Note: Ok, it was a picture of Dennis back in the day, all polyester and platform. I removed it by request of the subject.
