The iPad went on sale this morning and they are supposedly selling some 25,000 of them an hour online. All I know is the Apple online store was slower than a peg legged sloth with arthritis. But perseverance paid off and I ordered Heatherbaby a 16GB model with WiFi and 3G, which will be shipped to us in late April when that model comes out. We chose to get the 3G because it will come in handy during vacations/reunions when we may be out of range of WiFi and there is no service contract, you can get 3G by the month.
Being the geeks we are, we're all excited!
