Threadworn

We're making regular pilgrimages to The City now, almost every Sunday. It's absolutely fascinating. I've been doing extensive edits on some of the more emotionally interesting material. Please, tell me what you think. I've tried to make the photographs look distressed and aged, like the subject matter is, but giving each one a treatment that seems to fit the feelings you would experience if you were there.

I know, sounds like artist bullshit.

Anyhow, The Dragon was one such photograph, and I put a couple from the Packard plant up here too. Here are a few more from all over the city, starting with the once-glorious Michigan Central Train Depot...

Really love your photography, its why I first followed your blog. These photos are very nice and I hope to see more of them here. I also enjoy the Michigan scenery you occasionally post. My husband spent part of his youth in Wayne, Mi, although that town has seen better days, he has fond memories of his time there in the 60's and 70's. We hope to someday circle the state on a Motorcycle. I really look forward to that trip!
Please keep with the blog, its been very enjoyable.
