The tree removal company called. We're getting our big fat pile of wood chips today! Even better is the price, they're free!
Only thing that scares me a little is they said it will be a very big pile, at least six yards. Sometimes the truck driver can't stop the spill and I might get home today and find our house buried in poplar chips.
I'm very excited. I think they will make our yard look "mulch" better. I won't overdo it, I'll do a little each day, just "chip" away at it. I think that "wood" be best.
I'll start with the tree circle and then "branch" off and put some in the front yard. Coco gets excited when we do yard work, but she'd better not "bark" at me all day. I expect her to either "root" for us or stay out of the way.
Ok, I know this was hard to suffer through...just "leaf" it alone.

Too bad you don't have a cat, but you will. The neighborhood strays will discover the huge new litter box in your back yourd.
You think you're a poplar guy, but you be up to your arse in ash and those shiny green critters. Doesn't matter though. Your yard needs to get rid of the old growth and the bugs are less toxic to kids and dogs than herbicides. The cats will play with them too.
