This robotic, gyroscopically-stabilized camera mounted to a truck has been used for filming some of the most famous car chases in the last three decades.
Note that the truck and everything on it is black. That's because it's operating right outside the camera view, and you don't want the truck to act like a reflector and put unwanted light in the scene.
Michael Bay couldn't make a movie without this truck.
