Maddie saw this frog at the zoo and instantly wanted one as a pet. She even cried, so badly did she desire this amphibian.
I momentarily thought about it, until I read the placard on the glass enclosure:
"...highly endangered...on the edge of extinction...due mostly to the illegal pet trade..."
Ok, maybe she would like a different kind of frog? I don't think I'll find one of these at Petco.
