The 787 Dreamliner just received FAA certification to fly.
It's the first commercial airliner constructed primarily of carbon composites and uses 20% less fuel than a 767.
Boeing has lots of orders so expect to see these all over, real soon.
Look at the cockpit - compared to previous models it's clean and stark, almost minimalist. All primary system controls are integrated into the large touch displays, which replace hundreds of the switches and gauges of older designs. The cockpit windows are huge and panoramic.
