Maddie got her kindergarten teacher assignment today via email. They actually told us months ago that she would be getting a Miss Chick. Well, the email arrived today with the title "Chick Placement Letter". But the letter actually said her teacher would be a Mrs Woodman.
I checked the school site and saw that the school only has two kindergarten teachers and Mrs Woodman isn't one of them. Heather suggested that maybe Miss Chick got married and Mrs Woodman is her new name. That sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
So just to see if I could quickly verify this without calling the school, I googled this:
Engagement chick woodman
Google produced nothing of any value, probably because nobody announces engagements anymore. However, it did have a better suggestion:
Did you mean: engagement chicken woodman
I don't think I really want to know where that link leads.
