Remember the Zodiac Killer? The murders were never solved, and nobody was charged. The prime suspect was a guy named Arthur Leigh Allen, and he died in 1992.
The Zodiac Killer left behind codes, many of which have not been cracked to this day. Now an amateur code breaker from Cali claims to have broken a the most famous one - the 340 character note that reveals the killer's identity. If this turns out to be legit, and it seems to be, then the investigators were correct. The note bears the name:
Leigh Allen.
Now that's creepy.
