This is a giant whirlpool circling off the shore of Japan today. They were hit with an 8.9 offshore quake generating tsunamis that are headed across the ocean at this very moment. Hawaii is going to get hit very soon, they've already got waves coming in.
Can you imagine the amount of energy released in such a devastating event?
