Stalking Closer

The anticipation for meeting Giganotosaurus face-to-face has reached fever pitch at the Wild household.

A few interesting Giganotosaurus facts:

- They were slightly larger than T Rex and predated it by about 30 million years.

- They prowled the rainforests of South America 95 million years ago during the Cretaceous period.

- They hunted the gigantic plant-eater Argentenasaurus (which can be seen in the background of the pic), most likely in packs. In packs!

- They are the third-largest carnivorous dinosaur ever found, behind Carcharodontosaurus and the king of all meat-eaters, the mighty Spinaosaurus aegyptiacus.

- The kids are more excited than a Fruitadens haagarorum on caffeine to see this one!
