On The Field Of Battle

I did battle with our outgoing phone company yesterday, they who somehow found it in their hearts to keep charging us for one of our transferred phone lines long after they should have.

I handled the mêlée like I always do now, charging in with teeth bared and broadsword drawn. As I clanked my weapon against the hardened scales of my oppressor over and over again, the fight seemed at first to be unwinnable. But then I noticed a chink in the beast's armor and went for the heart.

The evil dragon now lies vanquished on the field, and I was able to escape the smoldering ruins with both my body and credit record intact.
