A Tail

Heather was carrying Brooke into daycare on her hip this morning, and Madison was following behind her so closely that one of her teachers remarked:

"Maddie, it looks like your mommy has a tail today!"

Madison considered this, looked at mommy, and replied:

"No, that's just Brooke's foot!"

Our current drive to Harbor Springs is 267 mi – about 4 hours 8 mins. When we move, the drive will be 262 mi – about 4 hours 4 mins.

Four minutes closer, baby! That's a hug, three crackers with smoked whitefish, four sips of wine, a glimpse of Fraidy, and a couple of quick stories.

Another unforeseen benefit of moving!

If we were to make a move like this every year, we'd be neighbors with my sister in only 53 and a half years or so.

Very Close

We're close! Very close!

Our favorite house builder came back with a second counter offer and it's very close to what we had asked for. So we are going to take it. Our fancy, uber-talented realtor is writing it up at this very moment.

We're excited!!! I think it's going to work out!!!

We could even pick out our carpeting colors!
