A Sherpa Of My Own

I like walking. It seems that I think better during a walk than I do at any other time. Something about the outdoor air and the absent-minded movement really clears my head.

I often think of great ideas during walks, and I almost never capture them. Cool blog posts, inventions, photography ideas...basically, I leave most of my best ideas out there on the sidewalk.

I wonder if I could hire a Sherpa to walk next to me with a pad of paper or recorder and capture all the things I leave out there. I mean, a digital recorder weighs far less than Everest summit equipment, I'll bet, so he should give me a handsome discount.

However, not living on the Tibetan plateau, I can imagine I might have some trouble finding an actual Sherpa. I might have to pay shipping, and that could be expensive.

Hammering And Climbing

It was another crazy Wild Weekend, complete with electrical wiring, ladder climbing, zoo going, outside eating, Wii playing, Dairy Queen eating fun. It was a handyman weekend extraordinaire, I installed a new porch light and fixed the gutters (and they DID need fixing) and even went to Lowes TWICE. I got to flex my manly muscles and make grunting noises as I hammered and did all kinds of other manly things.

Next project: new front steps!
