Alone

My mother left Brian and I off at the theater to watch a movie once, sometime in the 70’s. I think it may have been the first time she did that. I can’t remember what the movie was called but it was ironically about two kids whose mother was not around for one reason or another, and they are being raised by their father in some remote woods somewhere and he falls ill. They try to help him as much as they can but the father ends up dying, leaving the children alone.

 

Wonderful movie to see for our first movie alone. I still have bad feelings about that movie. And I still cannot remember what it was called. I’d love to look it up and see if it is a bad as I remember.
