We've been itching to upgrade our phones for over a year. Yes, I know, it's pathetic. We're still peasanting along with the now-ancient iPhone 3G. They still work great, but iOS 4 puts a load on them that they weren't really made for. And I really want an upgraded camera. Heather's glass screen has been broken (thanks, Brooke) for a loooong time but it keeps right on working.
I know something is coming this fall, whether it be a completely new iPhone 5 "World Phone", or a "processor and camera spec bump" iPhone 4s. Whatever it is, we're there on day one. And we've decided to switch to Verizon for a few reasons:
1) No AT&T signal in any of our primary "life zones". I think perhaps AT&T has been putting all the billions they make off this phone into executive bonuses instead of new towers.
2) I get a 20% discount from the Big Red V because Ford leases about 50,000 phones from them.
3) Due to #2 above, my building at work and just about all of Dearborn is saturated with full bars on Verizon.
4) Well, isn't three reasons enough?!?!? Geez.
