Man on the Moon

Remember when they used to say "If they can land a man on the moon, why can't they..." fill in the blank with various everyday items and services that often fail.

"If they can land a man on the moon, why can't they invent a vacuum cleaner that lasts more than a year?"

Business Insider is saying the president watched the entire bin Laden raid live via a video/audio stream from a helmetcam on one of the SEALs.

So, if this kind of globally projected feed from a pretty remote location is possible, granted, with very expensive and classified electronics that don't have to meet FCC regulations, why can't the world's giant electronics companies work together on a single simple, cross-brand remote-control standard?

Hmpf.
