I had my first ever CF card crap-out yesterday. My year-old Lexar 16GB Pro died a gruesome death sometime late on Mother's Day, taking half my precious images with it. The images I did get were great so I mourn the lost pixels.
Good news is, it's a professional (read: expensive) card so it's got a lifetime warranty. Let's see how good Lexar is about honoring it.
