More Good Med Stuff

The Mediterranean diet favored by Greeks and Italians is known to help prevent heart disease, and now new research extends these benefits to metabolic syndrome, a cluster of risk factors including high blood pressure, abdominal obesity, high cholesterol levels, and insulin resistance that increase risk for diabetes and heart disease.

Man, you should get a load of the eating plan I've been on for 10 weeks. It's the only proven way to lower cholesterol levels without drugs.
