You know, I think most people remember Liz Taylor as either a tabloid mainstay, the diva of all divas on the set of Cleopatra, or Michael Jackson's friend, but she was a great actress in her day. Rent "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" some time and see for yourself.

She was. And beautiful, too. She was also a dedicated humanitarian. People in her business thought she was crazy when she took AIDS on as her cause at a time when no one wanted to utter the acronym in public fearing for their status in the world of entertainment or whatever.
