know, but your wedding photographer does:
Most wedding dresses have an anti-stain coating applied to them that
fluoresces - meaning the dress will glow blue when it is hit with
Ultraviolet light.
And since unfiltered camera flashes emit lots of UV light (which I love
to call "Bee Purple"), the end result is that wedding dresses look blue
in photos.
Each photographer addresses this issue in a different way, some just
ignore it, and you get a blue dress in your pictures. Some use flash
filters that reduce or eliminate the issue with your flash fill, but
there are many sources of UV light besides your flash, including the sun
and various kinds of interior lighting.
My solution? I usually neutralize the blue in post processing and go
with either pure white or warm it up a bit to a slight yellow depending
on the mood of the photo. In this one I warmed it to amp up the sunset
feel.

Was her hair treated, too? Oh, and by the way, anti stain treatment TOTALLY unnecessary if you're planning a "trash the dress" shoot anyway!
lol...yes shade in general has a blue cast, but the dress is really over te top. I agree, for a garment that will be worn once, why stain resistant?
