I have been trying really hard to lose weight lately, because I hate being overweight and how it makes me feel. Recently it's been very difficult to go back down to what I have been most of my adult life (210 lbs), and everyone told me it's because I'm getting older.
Turns out that's not it. It was the meds I was on. I have switched to a newer (and vastly more expensive) one and ever since the day I switched over I have been able to eat normally and the weight is coming off fast. In fact, I'm within 9 lbs of my goal and it's the first time I've seen the teens since I went on my previous meds.
The old med made me just ravenously hungry at all times, and additionally it upset my stomach constantly, something that would always get better upon eating. Not a good combination and I gained like 50 lbs!
But now I'm rid of that cast iron anchor and on my way back to the real, low-mass Dave.
Onward and downward!

I'm losing, too. Only had 15 to lose but eating sensibly and running is my M.O. Besides, gotta look good for the Caribbean!
