A few interesting little thoughts to ponder:
1) It is somewhat likely that James Cameron's Avatar will be nominated for best picture this year.
2) It is almost certain that The Hurt Locker will be nominated.
3) It is very possible, given current momentum and past history, that the Best Picture Oscar will go to one of these two movies.
4) The Hurt Locker is the odds-on favorite to win. It's being called one of the best and most devastating films of the last ten years.
5) The Hurt Locker was directed by Kathryn Bigelow.
6) Kathryn Bigelow is James Cameron's ex-wife.
