Interesting side note to this post...I forgot to mention that my family and I will be going with the MSL rover to Mars.
Yes, it's true. You can go too, if you like. It only takes a few minutes.
You can add your name to a list of names that will be included on a microchip onboard the MSL rover, which has incidentally just been named "Curiosity". It's the next best thing to actually going!
So Heather and I, Zach, Maddie and even little Brookie will all be riding along with Curiosity as she drives around Mars "prospecting for organic molecules, the chemical building blocks of life".
We'll send you a postcard.
