The office is getting closer and closer to a state of photo-licious perfection. I have this thing about working in a very clean area. My mind is full of clutter enough, I need to have a really sparse, gray-monotone workspace or I think too much about the surroundings and not enough about the work. You really want to keep the color down when you are working with color, to avoid any kind of influence from the surroundings. For that reason the walls are a pretty neutral gray, the blinds are silver, and the art is black & white, or very nearly. Dull, maybe, but practical.

Good thinking on the "less color" Dave. My only suggestion would be to group the pics all together on the wall u face as u walk in instead of spreading them around.
More impact that way. Just a suggestion!
The problem with that is the photos were placed as is for a reason. Heather has hers, etc. Also, you may end up with a heavy spot at the grouping and blank spaces elsewhere, or too much all together if you fill in the blanks. I have to see it again to know for sure, but the bottom line is it has to be pleasing to you without being too distracting. I know what you mean, I'm constantly looking for ways to simplify my office space. Just moved my printer out of the way today. See how easily distracted I am???? I took all this time to write a simple opinion about a simple design concerning simplicity!!!!
