Back in the day, Brian and I wanted a certain GI Joe adventure set called the Mobile Support Vehicle. After catching wind that my brother Mike might possibly be persuaded into buying us this gem for Christmas, we proceeded to make his world a living hell for several months as we pleaded, begged, cajoled, and otherwise buried our dignity by doing anything and everything possible to acquire this toy.
At one point, Mike threatened us that if we asked him once more for it he wouldn't get it for us.
So we doubled our begging and pleading requests after that.
We got it! It's almost like our Red Rider BB gun, the greatest of all Christmas presents.

Eddie Murphy and his kid brother used to play GI Joe in the bath tub together. They had Joe scuba diving into underwater caves :)
