We met our builder yesterday at the new house. He seems very competent and we both liked him. He showed us around the house and told us his reasoning for the features he chose, and also set us up to provide input for the paint colors, hardwood floor stain, lighting fixtures, and other items that we are just in time to choose.
So late last night, our packing muscles hurting bad, Heather and I chose colors for most of the rooms. We're doing some dramatic shades because we like color and because the large rooms can handle it.
Tonight when we have Zach, we'll go over his room color(s) with him and finalize everything. We need to have this input fast, the painter starts early next week.
From here on in, the new house will be as hectic as the old one is.
