Zach did great at his MRI on Friday. I was proud of him. Not an ounce of fear. He was perfectly still too, not an easy feat while listening to Rammstein.
They let us in the room with him, after jettisoning all metal paraphernalia like watches and belt buckles. It was very loud, as I remember, but I always loved the electronic, robot-talk, techno-music sound of the magnetic field interactions in an MRI.
And what an MRI it was. They had a brand new Siemens MAGNETOM Espree, a very sexy beast. Sleek and rounded, and it still had that "New MRI" smell. They make them much more open and light than the deep "Tubes of Darkness" I remember being crammed into, way back in 2004 A.D.

You are so weird, bro, but I love ya anyway! (Probably because I am, too!)
Makes me want to run out and get one - do you think I can get 0 down and 0% for 60 months? Maybe if I use my old one for a trade in...
