The Great Revealing

We're now telling the world about Baby Wild. Or at least that part of the world that knows us and cares. We went in for the first ultrasound yesterday and got a good look at our little alien. Still too early for determining sex, but the little guy/girl was really moving around, and judging by the boxing movements he/she was making, we either have a male future boxer, or a girl preparing for marriage already :)

Humans at this stage of development often look like deep-sea amphipods. But we have decided that our amphipod is an especially cute one. Actually, the big dark areas are the ventricles of the brain, not bulging eyes. Heart rate was 154 BPM, just right! The little cutie is pushing 70mm long too, which made the docs re-estimate the due date to November 17th.

So, no more pictures of seeds and beans, now we have something closer to reality. In another month and a half or so we'll know the sex and we are already prepared with names...
