Namesake

This is my saucy grandmother, Cecilia (sitting on the fence). When I knew her she was older and not at all wanting to sit on fences. But back in 1920 she was quite a spunky chick! When I see this picture I always wonder how she got up there. But I guess climbing a fence in twenty pounds of underwear and a heavy dress while balancing a giant hat complete with an integrated flower garden would be no problem for a farmer's wife.
